Renaissance! The Garden District Plan | Convenience By Day, Excitement By Night

So your best college friend is visiting for the weekend?
Try these ideas for Saturday . . . if you live in Tivoli.

DAY. Stroll to the North End Green Market in the outdoor plaza at 7th Street Station (200 block of East Sixth). Scan fresh seafood, produce, crafts, flowers and baked goods. And watch the people - it's a great place to meet special attractions.

Lunch at a North Tryon restaurant. Palomino and Rock Bottom come
to mind. Take in the Mint Museum of Craft + Design, or Discovery Place, or an Imax film, or all.

NIGHT. Fresh and dressed to impress? Start with drinks at RiRa or Atlantic Beer & Ice. Swing around to Cosmos for a quick hors d'oeuvre. Hit the nightspots on College between 6th and 7th, or Liquid Lounge. Finish the night at Mythos where the crowd is late and loose. And when your friend says, "I want to live in Charlotte," simply point the way to www.tuscandev.com.

Tivoli, designed with a bow to Italian urban architecture, will stand on a hill facing uptown. Window boxes, iron balcony railings, rooflines and accents will please the eye.
All-brick buildings will front Tivoli's surrounding streets. Individual homes will open on to breezeways designed for warmth and invitation. Parking will be on street level in assigned spaces.

Tivoli's six buildings, which house 95 homes, have been carefully planned to fit the shape and elevation of the land. Buyers will be able to select from multiple floor plans.
