Construction at Tivoli is right on pace to welcome the first resident by Labor Day, 2001.

By November 2000, Tivoli's contractors had their grading permit in hand and were in the middle and late stages of work on roads, sidewalks and water meters. By January or early February, site work will be completed so that building construction can begin.

"For the most part, the preliminary work is completed or well under way," said Rip Farris of Tuscan Development. Farris and his business partner, James Cole, are two of Charlotte's youngest and most innovative developers.
